Dermatologist - Venereologist
Dr. Katerina Kyriakou is a specialist Dermatologist - Venereologist. Katerina was born in Thessaloniki and graduated from Anatolia American College in 2001. She excelled in the nationwide exams and was admitted to the School of Medicine at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, from where she graduated in 2007. She followed the two-year Postgraduate Program at the same university entitled "Medical Research Methodology". Following this, she wrote her doctoral thesis and in 2015 received her Doctorate from the School of Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. with a grade of "Excellent with Distinction". She completed her specialization in Dermatology - Venereology at the 2nd Aristotle University Dermatology Clinic of Papageorgiou General Hospital of Thessaloniki, while she pursued trained in University Dermatology Clinics in Italy and Germany (Sapienza University Of Rome, Italy and Jena University Hospital, Germany). At the same time, she attended special Pediatric Dermatology and Skin Allergy programs at the "A. Syngros" Hospital, Athens, as well as specialized seminars on Dermatology and the field of "Clinical Trials and Research" in Athens and Thessaloniki, receiving Certificates from Cambridge University Hospitals .
Since 2010, Katerina has been a Scientific Associate of the 2nd University Dermatology Clinic of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and since 2016 is a lecturer at the same university’s interdepartmental program (Department of Medicine and TEFAA), entitled "Exercise and health".
Doctor Katerina Kyriakou's special scientific fields include Psoriasis, Autoimmune Skin Diseases and Pediatric Dermatology.
The doctor's desire to continuously broaden her scientific training motivates her ungoing research activity, her unfailing participation in International and Panhellenic Conferences, the writing of scientific papers and participation in clinical studies.
She is a member of the International Association of Dermatology, the Hellenic Dermatology and Venereology Society (EDAE), the Medical Association of Thessaloniki and the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR).
